In this image you can see how I have highlighted the snow and the brightness as it looks effective and good on the snow, from doing this you can also see the extra contrast between the shadows and the snow. You can also see how I cropped out the side of the building. I changed the brightness with the "Levels" tool. I also changed the brightness and the exposure using the tools. I added colour correction to make it look very slightly light blue and make it a cool tone as I think that it works very well.

Here you can see how after the image has been edited that I have again used the 'smart filters' on photoshop to enhance the lighting and make it brighter so the image isn't as dull and the top of the mountain line looks very effective after being edited and it looks like it is glowing but subtle and is realistic. One tool which I used was called vibrance and I increased this to make it look more vibrant and show the brightness in the colours, I lowered the saturation as if I increased both the vibrance and the saturation it would look very weird. I increased the brightness obviously. From the screenshot you can see below you can see how I have used the 'curves' tool to level out the image. I have only used this slightly as I didn't want to create too much of a difference.

Again in this image you can see how I have brightened up the image so you can see all of the detail and I feel it really gives that subtle "glowing" feel and makes the image look less dull. Again I don't want to edit the image too much as it is landscape photography and I don't want too make it look unrealistic in any way. I have used the 'curves' tool very similarly to the previous photo as I like the way it comes out on the white snow and levels out me adding the brightness. I have the 'curves' tool make it slightly darker but only a little bit just to level it out and make sure it isn't too glowing. Below you can see how I have added brightness and effect with the 'brightness/contrast' tool. And how I have decreased the vibrance as I feel it looks more effective than using vibrance. I have also added saturation so in this particular image the colouring looks more effective.

For this image I wanted to create a darker landscape photo to give it more of a "moody" feel. However, I decided to up the brightness a little bit as it was a bit too dark. You can see this below from the screenshot of the tool I was using, I also added contrast as I wanted to show the colours and the contrast would show the colours well between the blue and the white. To add to this I used the 'colour balance tool' to add a little bit of cyan so it brings the blues in the image out even more. You can also see this from the other screenshot below. I added exposure with the 'exposure' tool by +1.00 so you could see more detail in the image.

Again for this image I also wanted to create a 'moody' feel and so for this I had the image darker. I had a low aperture and exposure on my phone camera when I took this as you can see from the before picture that is slightly dark. In this I used the curves and levels tool to give it some effect then I used the brightness tool to bring the brightness down a slight bit. I also added a slight saturation of +5.00.
